Mill house, now farmhouse. Mid/late C18. Red brick with some flared headers and
rendering; old plain-tile roof with brick stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys
plus attics. Symmetrical 3-window front, with storey band and gauged brick flat
arches, is of flared bricks in header bond with red dressings. 6-panel door,
with ornamental overlight and decorated frame, is within a later tiled porch.
Windows have 12-pane sashes and there are three 6-pane sashes in the flat-roofed
roof dormers. Hipped roof has flanking chimneys near ridge. Left end wall has
similar 12-pane sash at ground floor with a blind window above. Rear part of
main block is in slightly later brickwork and rendering. Lower hipped-roofed
wing projects to rear and has more header-bond flared brickwork. Interior not
inspected.
