Milestone. Mid C18. Limestone. Slightly-tapering stone of oval plan with rounded
top. Inscribed "LONDON/49/HENLEY/14/ABINGDON/?/OXF0RD/?". Arabic numerals are
re-cut over Roman numerals. The road was turnpiked in 1736.
