House, formerly part of inn. Probably C16/C17, remodelled C18. Rendered walls
with some light timber framing with brick infill; colourwashed rubble; old
plain-tile roofs with brick stacks. 2-unit plan, extended to end and rear. 2
storeys plus attics. 2-window front has two 3-light C20 leaded casements at each
floor. Single-storey rubble extension, to right, has a similar window with
panelled shutters. Right end wall and rear have light framing. Roofs are hipped
to right with flanking stacks. Interior: many fragments of earlier framing and
some heavy beams survive. Formerly linked to No.57 (Bullyn), to left, (q.v.) as
the Bull Inn. May have been galleried to rear.
