No.71 (The Doctor House)

GV II

Cowhouse and stables, now outbuildings and surgery. Mid/late C18, altered mid
C20. Weatherboarded timber framing with some brick; thatch roof. 2-bay stable
plus 4-bay cowhouse. Stables remain largely intact; cowhouse has been enclosed
with brickwork, replacing open front and end wall. Half-hipped roof. Interior:
clasped-purlin roof with curved inner principals. Included for group value.
