Vicarage, now house. Early C18. Coursed squared clunch rubble; old plain-tile
roof with brick gable stacks. T-plan. 2 storeys plus attics. Symmetrical
5-window front, with storey band linked to projecting keyblocks and with heavy
wooden modillion cornice, has 12-pane sashes, with architrave frames, a 6-panel
door, with rectangular Adam-style overlight and a Doric doorcase with fluted
pilasters and triglyph entablature. Stone flat arches only to ground-floor
windows. 5 lead-covered roof dormers. Rear has further sashes and a small
service wing to left. Interior: fine open-well stair rising to attics with
ramped handrail, closed string and alternating turned and barley-sugar
balusters; stone bolection fireplace.
