GV II

House. Late C16/early C17, extended C18. Rendered timber framing and clunch
rubble; old plain-tile roof with brick ridge stacks. 3-unit plan, extended. One
storey plus attics. 2-window front has glazed doors and 2-light dormers with
ornamental barge boards flanking a central round-headed window with margin
lights. A small rubble wing projects to left. Roof is half hipped and has a
ridge stack above the central window. Left gable wall, facing road is rubble and
has 2 segmental-arched 16-pane sashes. Rear wall has a plaster eaves cove.
Interior: Large internal stack has back-to-back open fireplaces with timber
bressumers and brick jambs.
