10/35 Glebe Cottage

GV II

House. Late C16/early C17, extended mid/late C17. Timber framing with plastered
and brick infill and some brick; thatch roof with C20 brick stacks. 2-unit
lobby-entry plan, extended to 3 units. One storey plus attics. 3-window front
has entrance to left of centre, 2 adjoining plank-shuttered 2-light casements to
left, and two 2-light casements to right, one in the later bay; three large C20
dormers. Roof is half-hipped to left, with a ridge stack in line with the
doorway arid an added second stack on the right gable. To left of the front a
tiled brick single-storey building is now part of the house. Interior not
inspected.
