House. C17, remodelled early C20. Rendered masonry and timber framing; thatch
roof with brick stacks. 3-unit lobby-entry plan. One storey plus attics. Front
altered early C20 with lean-to porch extensions, to right of centre, and various
casements. Exposed framing to right of porch; to left, applied timbers continued
around left gable wall. Roof has central C20 gabled dormer and 2 smaller
dormers; stacks to right of centre and left gable. Right gable wall has C20
first-floor extension on brick piers. Left gable is timber framed. Continuous
outshut to rear. Interior: exposed framing; large stack with back-to-back open
fireplaces; roof has straight windbraces.
