Nuneham House

GV II

Urn and pedestal. Probably early C19. Terracotta and limestone. Terracotta urn
has a narrow stem, a gadrooned base and 2 handles which spring from horned
masks. the square base is inscribed "GRIMSLEYS TERRACOTTA OXFORD". The square
limestone plinth has a moulded cap and base. A feature in the important
landscaped park. Included for group value.
(Nuneham Park is included in the HBMC County Register of Gardens at Grade I).
