12/93 Urn approx. 40m. NW of Nunehan
House

GV II

Urn and pedestal. Probably C18. Limestone. The stone urn stands on a moulded
stem and has a wide bowl profusely ornamented with bearded reclining heads and
with bunches of grapes. The handles are intertwined. Probably based on a Roman
model. The square plinth has a moulded cap and base and has panelled sides.
(Nuneham Park is included in the HBMC County Register of Gardens at Grade I).
