The Mount


House. c.1800. Limestone rubble, partly roughcast, with some brick dressings;
Welsh-slate roof with brick stacks. 2-unit plan. 3 storeys. Symmetrical 2-window
front, roughcast with smooth render quoins, has 2-storey canted sash-windowed
bays flanking a tall doorway with 6-panel door, rectangular overlight and reeded
doorcase. Top floor has 2 low sashes, 4 panes wide. Hipped roof with flanking
stacks. Sides and rear are stone. Interior not inspected.
