6/107 The Lodge, Coldharbour Farm
and attached gatepier


Lodge. c,1800. Colourwashed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings; Welsh-slate
roof with central brick stack. Square plan. 2 storeys. Single-bay front has
central door below a 2-light casement. 2-window side walls have further
ground-floor casements. All openings have stone flat arches with slightly
projecting keyblocks. Pyramid roof. Interior: 2 rooms deep. C18 square ashlar
pier, with moulded cap and ball finial rising from a moulded stem, is attached
by short section of wall. Included for group value.
