Toll house, now house. Mid C18. Limestone rubble with brick dressings; old
plain-tile roof with brick stacks. Double-depth plan with canted front and rear
outshut. 2 storeys. 3-sided front, with storey band, dentil eaves course, and
segmental arches to ground-floor openings, has a blocked central doorway between
4-pane casements; first floor has 8-pane sashes with wooden lintels in canted
faces. Side walls have further sashes plus present entrance to right. Roof is
hipped to front and rear and continues over outshut. Stack to right. Interior
not inspected.
