9/87 Cruck Cottage

House. C14 with C16 cross-wing. Cruck-framed; limestone rubble base; large
timber-framing; rendered infill to left; brick infill to centre, and left and
right returns of cross-wing; thatch roof with old plain-tile valley; brick
central ridge stack, lateral stack to left return of cross-wing. Single-storey,
3-window range to left, 2-storey cross-wing to right. C20 porch to rear.
Irregular fenestration of casements and sashes. Roof half-hipped to left,
cross-gable to cross-wing. 3 full crucks to C14 portion. Jointed crucks to
cross-wing with curved wind-braces. C16 doors to some rooms of C16 cross-wing.
