GV II

House. Mid C17, encased in brick, C20 alterations. Painted brick; thatch
half-hipped roof; brick ridge stack to left of centre. 3-unit lobby-entry plan.
2 storeys and attic; 3-window range at right-angles to street. C20 door to C20
porch with half-hipped thatch roof to left of centre. 2-light wood casements to
all openings, those to ground floor with segmental brick heads, except
single-light casement to ground floor right. Left return: 3-light wood casement
to ground floor centre. 2-light wood casement to first floor centre.
Single-light casement to attic. Winder staircase from ground floor to attic.
Queen-post roof with wind braces. Chamfered spine beams to ground floor, some
timber-framing with angle braces to rear first floor, blocked wood mullion
window to first floor right.
