House. Probably C16, with late C18 brick encasement, and later alterations.
Cruck-framed red brick; large timber framing to right with brick infill; thatch
roof, half-hipped to left. Single storey and attic; 3-window range. Plank door
to right of centre with brick rounded relieving arch. 2-light wood casements
with brick rounded relieving arches to ground floor except C20 large-pane
windows to right. Panels of timber framing to right. 3 swept dormers. Interior:
noted as having cruck-frames. Collection of photographs in National Monuments
Record.
