4/88 The Dower House


House. Late C18; left bay c.1830. Colourwashed chalk rubble with brick quoins
and dressings; hipped Welsh slate roof; brick and rear stacks. Double-depth
plan. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3- extended to 4-window range. Flat brick arch over
C20 door: stone porch with Doric columns. Segmental brick arches over 6-pane
sashes. Sashes to rear. Interior not inspected.
