Manor house, formerly cottages, now house. Probably late C17, with cross-wing to
right, dated 1796 to rear, C20 alterations and extensions. Red brick with flared
headers in Flemish bond; roughcast, probably on brick to end of cross-wing to
right; old plain-tile roof; brick end stack to left and ridge stacks. 2 storeys
and attic; 7-window range. C20 two-panel door with architrave surround and
triangular pediment on brackets to left of centre. 8-pane sash with thick
glazing bars to left. Two 2-light casements with brick relieving arches to
centre. Gothick casements with 2-centred arched heads to right of centre and to
right. Flat brick band between ground and first floor. 2-light leaded casements
to first floor. Painted moulded cornice to eaves. Cross-gable to right. 3 gabled
full dormers. C20 alterations to interior. History: formerly Rush Court Manor
House. Site partly enclosed by Moat.
