GV II

Stables, now house. Mid C17, with C20 alterations. Knapped flint with some stone
rubble and brick to ground floor right; red brick with random grey headers; old
plain-tile roof; brick end stacks to left. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range.
C20 panelled door and door surround to left of centre. Irregular fenestration of
C20 leaded casements. Dentil course to eaves. Pedimented full dormer with
2-light casement to centre. Glazed lantern with square lead-covered ogee dome
on pillars to centre. Interior: C20 staircase. Queen-strut roof. Boxed spine
beams to ground floor. Late C18 addition to left: knapped flint plinth; red
brick; old plain-tile roof, hipped to left. 2-storey, 2-window range. Carriage
doors to ground floor right. Two 16-pane unhorned sashes to first floor. Horse
boxes to ground floor.
