Early C19 stucco refacing of early to mid C18 house. 3-storey with low-pitched
slate roof and end wall stacks. Angle quoins. 2-window range of 16-pane sash
windows. Central door 10-panel, fielded panels and top 4 glazed with evidence
of removed segmental headed porch in plaster surround. To south side 2 sash
windows with glazing bars in bead-moulded raised stone surrounds. Inside: to
rear, winding stair around octagonal newel with moulded handrail and formerly
with twisted balusters. Panelled dado covered over. At 1st floor, archway with
fluted pilaster jambs, moulded arch and keystone. Fielded panelling and moulded
cornice to 1st floor south side room. C19 iron railings on low wall in front.
