Mid to later C19 picturesque pair of cottages flanking a wide carriage arch.
Rubble stone with ashlar dressings, 2-storey. Plain tile roof with 4 paired
corniced stone chimney stacks. 4-window range of leaded stone mullioned
windows, 2-light above, 3-light below, upper windows under small dormer gables.
Central Tudor-arched gateway. West end wall external chimney stack with inset
panel and blank shield. To east end and under continuous roof is further
2-window range, an older barn incorporated. Half-hipped east gable. Single
leaded 1st floor windows under small half-hipped dormer gables. 2 plank doors
to ground floor.
