Early C19 tall rubble stone house with brick dressings. Basement and 3 storeys.
Stone tiled eaves roof with fretted eaves boards and barge-boards. Corniced
ashlar end wall stacks. Brick angles and window surrounds. 3-window range,
arched heads to 1st and 2nd floor windows and centre ground floor on north
front. Stone keys to ground and 1st floor. Glazing bar sash windows. Centre
ground and 1st floor windows of north front blank. South front: Central door,
flat-headed with margin-light fanlight and tent canopy across centre and east
side on 3 iron columns with fretted pelmet. Similar small hoods over 1st floor
windows have been removed. Later rear extension against west side.
