GV II

Early C19 tall ashlar fronted building, originally the Faringdon Bank. Basement and 3 storeys, 4-window range. Parapet, moulded cornice, moulded band at first floor sill-level and ground floor plinth. Tall sash windows with glazing bars. Doors each side in plain tall opening with bead moulding and rectangular fanlight. Stone steps up and low stone wall between. Interior: rear curved open well staircase with continuous rail and scrolled brackets to treads.
