c.1840 stucco-fronted corner building. 3-storey with slate roof, hipped at
angle. 2-window range to Market Place, 3 windows to London Street. 2 plain
bands at floor levels. Channelled rustication to ground floor. Glazing bar
sash windows in moulded architrave surrounds. To Market Place ground floor
shopfront of 2 shallow bows with frieze and cornice across, broken for central
door. Panelled pilasters and curved brackets framing openings. Bowed windows
modern.
