Mid C17 altered to roughcast fronted building. High basement and 2 storeys.
Stone tiled roof with west end truncated stack. 2 triple casements with leaded
lights to first floor. Raised ground floor with 6 steps up, 4-panelled door
with crude wood tracery to fanlight. Squat 8-pane window to east side. To west
side 2 projecting box windows, sliding sashes to right, casements to left side
window. Slate lean-to hood overall. Datestone 1645 between windows. Basement
level C19 plate glass 3-sided shopfront with fascia and cornice. Half sunk
door. To east side of steps 4-panel door to through passage. The west side of
No 24 adjoining was originally part of same range.
