3/39 No 21 (Betterton House)



Mid C18 and early C19 rubble stone house with some ashlar dressing. Basement
and 3 storeys. Parapet. Slate roof with brick end wall stacks. Ashlar plinth
and chamfered quoins to half way up facade. 2-window range, 16-pane sashes in
plain raised surrounds. Oval light to basement. Central door, tall stone
moulded architrave with pediment. Large rectangular fanlight with metal tracery.
Rubble and brick rear. Interior subdivided for flats.
