Earlier C19 farmhouse, possibly on earlier core. Coursed rubble and squared
coursed rubble with ashlar dressings. 2-storey and attic. L-plan with addi-
tional low rear wing. Stone tiled roofs with pierced barge-boards and eaves
boards. West front 3-window range with additional 1-window range projecting
gabled wing at north end. Stone mullioned 2-light windows with hoodmoulds and
diamond tracery small sash windows. Projecting porch with Tudor arched doorway,
hoodmould and coped gable with finial. Date plaque inscribed WB 1839. Each
side a later C19 splayed bay window with plain tiled roof and Gothic traceried
heads to window lights. South end gable similar to west gable but with 3-light
ground floor window. Rear range brick and stone, one storey and attic. Brick
section with triple casement half-dormer and 2 paired casements under brick
relieving arches to ground floor. East end section with brick window and door
surrounds and cambered head ground floor opening.
