9/16 No.51 (May Tree Cottage)


House. Early C17. Timber-framed with angle braces, of 2 square panels deep, on
limestone rubble plinth. Gabled thatch roof; stone left end stack. 3-unit plan.
One storey and attic; 3-window range. C20 door and windows: C19 three-light
dormer casements. Later outshut of limestone rubble to rear. Interior not
inspected but likely to be of interest.
