House. Early C18. Limestone rubble with roughcast front; gabled stone slate
roof; brick end stacks. Double-depth plan. 2 storeys and attic; symmetrical
3-window range. Fielded 6-panelled door: carved consoles to flat hood with
modillioned cornice. Tripartite late C18 sashes: 6-pane sash over door. All
openings have decorative plaster surrounds. Hipped roof dormers, each with
moulded cornice. Rear: mid C19 alterations and one-storey extension. Interior:
central early C18 dog-leg with winders staircase has turned balusters on closed
string; early C18 six-panelled doors and panelled shutters. First floor not
