Farmhouse, now house. Early C17, extended to right in early C18. Uncoursed
limestone rubble; gabled roof of old tiles to front and stone slates to rear;
stone gable end stacks. One-unit extended to 2-unit central through-passage
plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Carved consoles to fine early C18 pediment hood
over early C18 fielded 6-panelled door with overlight: blocked window above.
Right bay has segmental brick arch over early C19 ten-pane sash above timber
lintel over late C19 two-pane sashes: left bay has C17 decorative moulded
lintels over early C19 ten-pane sash and late C19 four-light casement. Rear: C18
outshut of limestone rubble with concrete tile roof to right, C18 service wing
of limestone rubble with gabled old tile roof to left. Interior: stone flag
floor. Central passage has C18 two-panelled doors, and plank door to rear.
Quarter-turn stairs and chamfered beam to right: left room has ribbed door,
stop-chamfered beam: winder stairs to rear of stack, with blocked 2-light
diamond-nullioned window. First floor: left room has plank partition, early Ci7
panelled door and stepped-stop chamfered beam and original joists: room to right
has fine early C18 bolection-moulded fireplace with flanking doors.
