House. C18. Colourwashed limestone rubble; gabled C20 tile roof; gable end stack
to left of stone finished in brick. 2-unit plan. One storey and attic; 2-window
range. Timber lintels over central C20 door, C20 window to right and late
C18/early C19 three-light mullioned window with C20 panes to left. Blocked
first-floor door in left side wall, possibly for access to granary in attic.
Similar mullioned window to rear: window to rear right has mortices for diamond
mullions in soffit of lintel. C20 extension to rear right. Interior:
stop-chamfered beam and chamfered bressumer over open fireplace with bread oven;
ribbed door to adjoining winder stairs. Cased beam in room to right: early C18
two-panelled door on first floor. Central timber-framed partition rises to
closed truss of heavy scantling with stop-chamfered door frame.
