Farmhouse. Mid C17, remodelled C20. Uncoursed limestone rubble; C20 rendered
front, gabled stone slate roof; stone end stack finished in C20 brick and rear
lateral stack finished in C18 brick. 3-unit plan. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window
range. C20 door and windows. Rear: C20 porch adjoins stair-turret. C20 front
left wing. Interior: right bay has stop-chamfered beams: fine open-well
staircase with pierced splat balusters, carved newel finials and pendentives:
right bay of first floor has ribbed door set in moulded wood architrave with DEM
and 1650 carved in spandrels: fireplace in right bay of attic has plasterwork
overmantle with grotesque over strapwork. Collar-truss roof with butt purlins.
