House. Probably late c16. Painted brick to ground floor; close-studded
timber-framing with rendered infill to first floor; old plain-tile roof with
half-hipped gablet to left, and half-hipped cross-gable to right; brick ridge
stack to left of centre; C20 brick internal stack to right of centre, end stack
to right of cross-wing. 2-storey, 3-window range with cross-wing to right.
Ribbed door to centre of main range with C20 timber-framed porch. 2-light
casements with leaded lights to main range, except 3-light casement to ground
floor left with leaded lights. Bay window to ground floor of cross-wing with
4-light casement. First floor of cross-wing jettied. 2-light casement to first
floor of cross-wing. Raised cruck to gable-end of cross-wing. Interior not
inspected but likely to be of interest.
