Farmhouse now 2 houses, and attached outbuilding, now part of Kings Farmhouse.
Early C17, possibly with C16 origins, and early C18; altered later, C16,
late C19 and late C20 timber-fronted rear wing, later clad in red brick,
with blue headers in Flemish bond; front range of grey brick: with red
brick dressings; former outbuilding of weatherboard with brick left return;
old plain tile logs; brick stacks. Early C18 front range of 2 storeys
with attic, five lst-floor windows; wing to rear left, possibly with C16
origins, has one storey with attic, 2 bays, with a 3rd bay added at rearmost
end and an outskirt under outside roof on north east side; former outbuilding
projecting by front right of 1 storey, 2 bays. Front range: 6-panel
part-glazed door to left of centre with painted wood architrave, segmental
brick head, and flat hood. C19 3-light wooden mullion and transom windows
to central and outer bays with flat brick arches. Blind recessed panels
to bay 4 and over door. Red brick platt band. Stepped, dentilled, eaves
band. External space of left end and one to ridge to right of centre.
Attached to front right is C18 former outbuilding having one C20 small-
pane casement. Left return: front range has added 1989 conservatory,
not of special interest, and small blocked light to attic. Rear wing
has brick work of 2 different phases; late-C20 leaded-light casements,
one to ground floor right in segmental-brick-arched opening and 2 on 1st
floor in gablets; late C20 conservatory at end not of special interest.
Right return: front range has C20 door and windows; wing has C20 windows
and 2-storey extension, not of special interest. Interior: rear wing
(The Old Brewhouse) has parts of timber frame exposed including partition
walls between bays, the apexes retaining wattle and daub infill and having
coliars supported by 3 uprights; straight wind braces; large scantling
through purlins; old rafters; some roof timbers sooted. On ground floor,
front room has inglenook fireplace with lambes-tongue-stopped chamfered,
timber, bressumer with large-scantling deelpy. chamfered cross-beam above
and later bread-oven within; chamfered old L-winged board door. Interior
of front range (Kings Farmhouse) not inspected.

Farmhouse, now house. Early C18, incorporating some C17 structure. Grey brick
with red brick dressings; old plain-tile roof; brick end stack to left, ridge
stack to right of centre 2-storey, 5-window range. 6-panel part-glazed door to
left of centre with painted wood architrave surround, segmental brick head, and
flat hood. C19 three-light wood mullion and transom windows to ground and first
floors left, centre, and right, with flat brick arches. Blind recessed panels to
ground and first floors right of centre and to first floor left of centre. Flush
red brick band between ground and first floors. Dentil brick course to eaves,
C18 outbuilding, now converted to part of house. Weatherboarding, probably on
timber-framing; old plain-tile half hipped roof. Single-storey, 2-bay,
single-window range. C20 casement to centre. Interior not inspected.
