GV II

Church. 1863-4 by C.A. Buckler for C.J. Eyston. Stone ashlar; old plain-tile
roofs. Early English style. 3-bay nave with north aisle, chancel with sacristy
to south, octagonal spirelet between nave and sacristy. Porch to centre bay of
nave with double plank doors to 2-centre arched doorway. Geometrical tracery
windows of 3-lights to nave and end of sacristy. 5-light geometrical tracery
window to west end of nave. Spirelet has louvred lancet openings on cardinal
sides of upper stage. Pyramidal stone spire to spirelet. Interior: not inspected
but noted as having wood open-work chancel screen and Hardman and Co. stained
glass to most windows.
