Nos. 22 to 26 including the central block, were originally the stables
to the Clock House (Nos 26A and 28), on three sides of a courtyard.
Chequered brick.
No. 22 - street elevation. Late C19 glazed oriel with carved stone base.
Building breaks forward to left, one window flat arch, no glazing bars.
Modern door on ground floor, six panel door, stone label inscribed "The
Beaconfield"; Courtyard elevation - seven windows, red brick flat arches.
Three windows, pedimented central section breaks forward.
No. 24 part of Central block of former stables (Nos. 22, 24 & 26). Two
storeys. Central Venetian window in stone architrave, stone brackets to
cills, is flanked by two flat arched windows in brick, cills on stone
brackets, below semi-circular blocked window, red brick arch, stone cill.
Dentil cornice. To the left a one storey linking section with one window,
small parapet. Central elliptical carriage arch, stone rusticated head
with keystone. Hipped slate roof with central open bell cote with
weathervane, and clock.
