C18 with additions in the early and late C19 of limewashed roughcast and a steeply
pitch I gabled stone tiled roof to the SE and slate roofs to the NW and SW. 2 end
stone stacks to the C17 range which is set at right angles to the road and comprises
2 storeys and attic, 3 bays with 3 gabled dormers lit by 2 light casements with leaded
glazing, sash windows of 4 panes to the upper floor and 'french' windows and one sash
window to the ground floor. Cast iron columns support a part glazed veranda along the
length of the ground floor. The early Cl9 addition to the SW is of 2 storeys and has
a projecting bow. The later C19 addition is again of 2 storeys and built on to the
rear of the original house.
