Late C16 core (deeds date back to 1591) but now entirely C19 in character after a
series of alterations and additions in 1810, 1820 and 1870. Built of rubble stone and
brick quoins and dressings with a gabled machine tiled roof and 2 ridge brick stacks.
Originally 2 houses, now one dwelling. 2 storey, 4 window range to the W with 6 pane
sashes to the upper windows under cambered brick heads and 8 pane sashes to the ground
floor also under cambered heads but with stone keystones. The range to the E is of
4 bays with 3 six pane sashes to the upper floor and 2 four pane sashes on the ground
floor between a 6 panelled door beneath a machine tiled gabled porch to the right hand
bay and a carriage arch to the outer left hand bay.
