Early C19 rebuilding of an earlier house. Originally of rubble stone but with the C19
features of brick dressings to the openings, a limewashed roughcast S front and gabled
slate roofs with end brick stacks. T shaped plan. 2 storeys with a principal S front
of 3 bays. The windows here are 8 x 8 pane sashes, all other windows are C20 small
pane casements. Steps up to a central door on the S front with reeded panels and a
4 light rectangular fanlight which is sheltered by a Regency wrought iron porch with
lozenge patterning.
