12/69 Childrey House.


House. Late C18/early C19 with mid C18 bay to right. Flemish bond brick with
flared headers; stone slate roof; brick stacks. Original singe-unit plan
extended to 3-unit lobby-entry plan in late C181early C19. 2-storey, 4-window
range. Segmental arches over C20 door with overlights, and original 3-light
leaded casements: three 3-light and one 2-light leaded casements to rear.
Gabled roof; one ridge, and 2 end stacks. Interior not inspected. Attached to
2-storey mid C19 building, probably a stable and coach-house.
