Farmhouse, now house. Mid C17 square timber framing, diagonal braces;
irregular light framing to right wing; C19 brick to rear ground floor and right
gable; thatched roof, one brick and one chalk (lateral, right) stack. 3- unit
lobby entry plan. 2-storey left, 1 1/2 storey right. Garden front: 4- window
range to left and gable wall of later wing to right. C20 door and casements;
Hipped and half-hipped roof; C17 ridge and lateral stacks. Interior: original
ribbed doors; quarter-turn and straight-flight stairs opposite entry;
straight-flight stairs to left adjoin original timber-framed partition; full
set of chamfered and stopped beams to ground and first floor left; Chamfered
bressumers to fireplaces in ground and first floor left rooms; queen-post and
collar-truss roof with butt purlins.
