11/146 Common Farmhouse, barn approx
10 metres north


Barn. Dated 1793 on tie beam. Side walls are weatherboarded over light timber
frame on brick plinth; Flemish bond brick to gable walls; corrugated asbestos
roof. 3 bays. Central threshing floor. Half-hipped roof. Interior: Brick
threshing floor; collar-truss roof with side struts and butt purlins. Included
as a dated example of late C18 timber framing.
