House. C17. Timber framed, in square and irregular framing; brick infill.
Thatched roof; brick stack and chalk block external stack to right. 3-unit lobby
entry plan. One storey and attic; 3-window range. C20 plank door. Two mid/late
C19 and two and 3-light casements in first floor half dormers; other casements
are C20. Half-hipped roof; ridge and right external stack. Interior: chamfered
bressumer to central fireplace; chamfered beams and oists survive in centre
room, and left and right rooms have original and C20 replacement beams; quarter
turn stairs next to front door and against stack; timber framed partition of
close studding next to stack; first floor not inspected. Original partition
between centre and right rooms has been removed, with morticed beam sirviving.
