GV II

Three cottages, now house. Early C18. Coursed limestone rubble, brick quoins and
jambs to openings; old tile roof; brick stacks and central stone stack. Original
plan form unclear. One storey and attic; 7-window range. Timber lintels and
brick jambs to late C19 casements, second from right blocking door; C20 bay
window and door to left. Central C20 door and porch. Four late C19 half-dormers
with late C19 casements. Gabled roof; gable end and two ridge stacks, the stone
stack set diagonal to ridge. Interior: Chamfered bressumers and segmental brick
arches over open fireplaces with bread ovens. Full set of chamfered and stopped
beams to right room, originally two rooms having morticed central beam.
