GV II

Wall at Hatford Manor (q.v.). Late C17. Flemish bond brick and English garden
wall bond brick to south wall; limestone rubble plinth and limestone ashlar
coping. Other walls are in coursed limestone rubble with limestone ashlar
coping. North wall has been broken by entry, east wall has brick segmental arch
over plank door, and the south wall is ramped down in stages. The wall encloses
a rectangular area approx. 100 x 20 metres and occupies a conspicuous sloping
site. Included for group value.
