House. Mid C18, later C18 bay to right. Coursed and roughly dressed limestone
rubble, brick quoins and dressings; stone slate roof, Welsh slate to rear; brick
stacks. 2 extended to 3-unit plan. 2 storeys; 4-window range. Segmental arch of
alternately red and flared brick and brick jambs to early C19 six-panelled door;
gabled porch c.1970. Similar arches and dressings to late C19 tripartite sashes;
right bay has mid C20 canted bay window and segmental brick arch over late C19
three-light casement above. Dentilled eaves; 2 roof dormers. Gabled roof; gable
end and one ridge (formerly end stack of mid C18 house) stack have dogtooth
brickwork at top. Continuous rear outshut has two C18 three-light leaded
casements and a similar casement without leaded lights. Interior: Mid C18
two-panelled doors and late C19 four-panelled doors in moulded architraves. Rear
outshut has chamfered beam and plain joists to right and raised cheese room over
cellar to left. Winder stairs opposite front door. Common-rafter roof.
