Dovecote. Late C18. Coursed limestone rubble, brick quoins and dressings; stone
slate roof. Octagonal plan. Pointed brick arch with keystone over plank door,
divided by continuous string course from an upper level. Hipped dormer, ogee
head to opening used as glover. Similar walls with blind doorways alternate with
quatrefoil above similar pointed arch to bricked blind window. Pyramidal roof
surmounted by ball finial. Interior: Brick nesting boxes in all walls.
