Farmhouse, now house. Late C17/early C18. Coursed limestone rubble; stone slate
roof; brick stacks. 3-unit plan with outshut. 2 storeys and attic; 4-window
range (originally 5). Timber lintel over 6-panelled (4 glazed) door; timber
porch of c.1930 with stone slate roof. 2 mid C19 canted bays with sashes; timber
lintels over early C20 three-light and one 2-light (over door) casements, 3
blocked windows and one blocked doorway to left. 2 gabled roof dormers. Roof is
gabled to right and half-hipped to left; ridge and right end stacks, the latter
having early C18 moulded brick. Mid C20 extension with limestone rubble walling
and tile roof to left of front. Original outshut to rear left has had openings
much altered in mid C20; C18 two-bay block with half-hipped roof to right of
outshut has late C17/early C18 twelve-panelled door. To right of this is a mid
C20 extension built in similar style. Interior not inspected but likely to be of
interest.
