9/238 Barn approx. 15m. NE of Cox's
Barn. Mid C18. Coursed limestone rubble, stone slate roof. 5-bay plan with
central threshing floor. C20 plank double doors; square ventilation holes to all
side walls and gable walls. Gabled roof. Interior: 5-bay Queen strut roof with
butt purlins, but mortice holes in soffits of all collars suggest that this was
originally a queen post roof, which was altered at later date. Included for
group value, as one of a group including stable (q.v.) and stable and attached
cartshed (q.v.) at Cox's Hall.
