School. 1853. By G.E. Street. Coursed limestone rubble, limestone ashlar
dressings, brick quoins; original tile roof; brick stacks. Single storey; 2:1:2
fenestration broken by gabled central wing. Gothic Revival style. To left is
plank door in a pointed arch with chamfered architrave which is flanked by 2-
and 3-light chamfered stone mullioned windows with square trefoiled heads. Gable
wall of projecting wing has late C13 style 2-light window; right wall has a
central plank door with original knocker in a pointed arch with chamfered
architrave, with similar 2-light windows, there being one to the left and two to
the right, the last two windows having blind cusped heads. Gabled roof; ridge
stack in front projecting wing and gable end stack to right. Left side wall of
gabled projection has plank door in pointed arch with chamfered architrave;
right gable wall has two C20 casements on ground floor and two 2-light chamfered
stone-mullioned windows with blind trefoiled heads. Interior not inspected.
